Chicken Charlie

I’ve been to Chicken Charlie before but it was during the time when their menu was just offering a bunch of chickens rather than meals. Now, they’re offering meals to make the unique chicken taste to be more accessible. So I ate last night, buying their very basic meal, a one-piece drumstick, one rice and one drink. I up-sized the drink and also bought fries getting to a considerable prize of 125 pesos.

Actually, this was the very first soy-chicken I tasted, followed by Chicken Bon Chon then Manang’s Chicken. I won’t make any comparison for now and I’ll do that when I blog all of the three mentioned above. First, the meal is tad simple but I seem to have a problem with the chicken cuts available because they only have drums and wings. However, the chicken’s taste is great as well as the crisp skin. 🙂 The taste is not just on the skin but also goes deep to the meat as well.

In the drinks section, you might have a problem if you like softdrinks because they don’t offer those. Instead, you can have yourself drowned in yummy red iced tea. Then the additional food I ordered:

The fries they have is shoestring but they do taste like the Belgian ones, only smaller.

Overall, Chicken Charlie is good. They brought problems before for people like me who like to spend little on food because Chicken Charlie did not offer meals. Instead, you order a bulk of chicken then separate rice. However, I’m looking for the taste and quality and Chicken Charlie surely is a great place for fried Chicken. :))
