Shine – Rie Fu

I can pull you much closer to me
If I try
But the minute I face you, you see,
I just walk by
The sound of the hallway could cheer me up
But at the same time push me down
To the deepest of solitude

So the love I found is within me
All the joy you bring is mine
He sits down and looks up at the city
All the days will always shine
Every night
And every day

All the voices I hear are changing colors now
All I wanna do is hug their shoulders now
The sound of the station could cheer me up
But at the same time push me down
To the deepest of solitude

So the love I found is within me
All the joy you bring is mine
He sits down and looks up at the city
All the days will always shine
Every night
And every day

Tiny plastic pens scribbling on a daydream
Be carefree from it all
Letting it go on and looking back
Made it harder for me to be free
As you know and as you don’t know
As you wish and as you don’t wish
Count to three and that’s that

So the love I found is within me
All the joy you bring is mine
He sits down and looks up at the city
All the days will always shine

So the love I found is within me
All the joy you bring is mine
He sits down and looks up at the city
All the days will always shine
Every night
And every day

Horoscoops…

This is for July 26, I think….

The Bottom Line

Someone’s arrogance is hiding who they really are. Give them another chance today.

In Detail

First impressions are strong impressions, but they are not always correct impressions! Keep that in mind today when you are reunited with someone who turned you off with their arrogance at your first meeting. Give them another shot — maybe they were in a bad mood, maybe their shoes were too tight, or maybe they tried to cover up their insecurities by coming on too strong. You are still in the process of finding out who this person really is. It’s too early to form conclusions.

Porsche 911 GT2 again!

Heheheh! Remember my post about the 997 series Porsche 911 GT2 which was posted….well, yesterday? I wrote at the last part of my post “The 911 GT2 is like a 911 Turbo and a 911 GT3 combined.”. I think it’s a possibility since the GT2 uses GT3’s sporty and good-looking rims! There’s a bit difference between GT2 and GT3’s power output but I still don’t know which one will perform better. It seems like GT3’s for circuits and GT2 for high speed running on public roads.

Porsche 911 GT2 [997]

DID you know that I’m a Porsche fan? Among all the European cars being produced today, only Porsche pleases me the most. Even if Ferrari had released news about their improved Ferrari F430 Scuderia (surprisingly they didn’t call it Stradale like usual), I’d still prefer Porsche’s style. Porsche always chase engineering than passion, but I’d like to admit that the end results are astonishing.

I thought the 911 GT3 and the 911 GT3 RS will be the last to come in the 997 series. I thought, what are they going to do with the other models, like GT2? After sometime the “GT2” problem of mine had gone until this showed up on Dieselstation.com:

Yup, it’s a new model from Porsche, another 911. I was surprised because it was called “GT2”. The 911 GT2, before, followed the already fast 911 Turbo but instead of using 4-wheel drive, they switched the drivetrain to Rear-wheel drive and boosted up the engine power. This GT2 punches 530 horsepower. That’s more than what you can get from the Turbo. The GT2 997 series still follows the “Copy-the-Turbo-a-bit” format except modifying some body parts. But it still carries 2 Turbochargers with VTG or Variable Turbine Geometry, the same as the 911 Turbo. It manages to have maximum torque of 680 Newton-metres maintained consistently between 2,200 and 4,500 rpm. The 50 HP more than the standard Turbo unit is caused by the GT2’s new turbos with larger compressor wheel and a flow-optimised turbine housing raising turbocharger pressure to an even higher level. And for the first time Porsche’s engineers have combined the turbocharged engine with an expansion-type intake manifold – a genuine revolution on turbocharged engines.

I like the new GT2 body kit, especially the vent-like portions on the rear body kit. It carries a front body kit similar to Turbo’s and the large air intakes at each side of the car. I also like the wing, looks better than 911 GT3 but unlike the Turbo with controllable wing height, the GT2’s wing is permanently raised up. I hope this car comes soon. It’s like a 911 Turbo and a 911 GT3 combined.

The Bottom Line

An ex is back! If you feel more romantic about them than ever, keep your distance.

In Detail

An ex is back on the scene, and you might feel your heart singing a familiar tune. Be careful — even if you feel more romantic about them than you ever did before, it could be hope or idealism that is guiding your feelings. Give yourself time to get used to them being back on the scene, and do not make any attempt to spend more time with them in a planned way. If you see them again, you see them again. Don’t try to steer this thing — it won’t go where you want it to.

Wowowee.

Color-coded, Thursday morning…

it’s now 10:15 am and um, I’m already here at the campus’ library since 8. I was reviewing the next laboratory experiments for the preliminary lab report-writing for the next two experiments. After reviewing, I tried to entertain myself by surfing the net. First, I tried looking for a good PC but the first 2 that I’ve encountered had viruses that really embarrassed me because the PCs had restrictions and cannot install programs, even if the program is just an anti-virus. Sheesh. Finally I found the third one quite good for use. I checked my mail first and also friendster and multiply. (Hey, I’m not stalking, please…)  My YahoO! didn’t show anything new, same as the friendster and multiply. So, to keep myself from getting bored, I remembered my friends’ blogs and started reading some of them. I went to Selah’s and found her latest entry to be confusing for someone like me. Although her entry was posted yesterday and that’s nice. Another one is from Precious, and her latest post dated June. She wrote a tribute to her closest friends in high school. Tribute? Well, the only thing that comes to my mind whenever I hear the word “tribute” is death. Hahaha, joke. Anyway, I like what she did and I admit, I cannot do the same thing that she did at the moment. They’re lucky actually because they’re all studying in the same university and that they can see each other anytime. I miss my friends, really, and I hope I’ll see them as soon as possible. I’ve also read other QCSHS students’ blogs and they all have, well, not that of interesting contents but I prefer the ones that Selah and Precious had.

Anyway, I’ll be moving to the “car” topic. What I have here now is the prototype ( I guess…) Mugen Civic RR. They seem to have taken the “Asian” version of the new Civic with bulges on headlamps and big rear lamps.

Hey! Our Honda Civic here in the Philippines looks exactly like that!!! That means, American-spec Civic really sucks and it looks dull, unlike the Civic RR, it looks sexeh!!! The spoiler looks like the one from a LanEvo, though…..

I still have no idea about the performance of the car but the car should be good because I saw this video of this car being tested on a track in Japan. The car looks balanced and has quite good handling for a big, front-engine, front-drive car. They say that the engine of the Civic RR has more power than the factory Civic Type-R. This should be a good one…

Next! Do you know the famous “AE86” Corolla? Yeeessssss…… Now, this legendary car of the ’80s stopped its production during the early ’90s. It was not that famous that time until several events lead to the rise of this machine to the top. The “AE86” line includes the Toyota Sprinter Trueno and the Toyota Corolla Levin. The most famous trim of these cars was the GT-APEX, carrying 160 PS at a net weight of less than 1000 kg. The cars became famous and was used for motorsports, including drifting and so. But since the car became famous at the time when it stopped its production, it’s now hard to find one or if ever you found one, it’ll probably be expensive to buy a very stock one of the car. Rumors then say that the problem will be solved as Toyota is trying to produce a cheap, RWD (Rear-wheel-drive), lighweight 2-door coupe that has the same veins as the AE86. Cheap, RWD and light weight are exactly the distinguishing characteristics of the legendary AE86. This is just a rumor but we can probably smell the coming of this car, as seen in these pictures:

(click the image to enlarge)

Ohhaaa? It looks good too, for a cheap, RWD, lightweight car.

If this car will be successful, then the problem of finding a car similar to AE86 will be eliminated. WWAAAAAAHHH!!! I like one of these!!!

So that’s all for today, I still have a class….

Virus Free…I think.

That’s what I think now. My memory card’s free of that freakin’ krag.exe or worm. Thanks to FExplorer, the updated version. The version I installed before was the version 1.15 and, well, it’s just a normal file explorer for me. The 1.17 though really helped me a lot. It can now detect files that cannot be seen at Windows XP, like that krag.exe. Since such viruses only attack Windows platform, Sun Microsystems or S60 OS to be simple, has nothing to do with these viruses. That means, it cannot infect my phone. Happy, happy, happy….

While I was searching for the virus, I was sitting at the administrator PC at our library and I noticed that I can install anything in this PC. So, using this opportunity, maybe I can see whether the PCs here are properly maintained. The answer: NO. Why? I downloaded the latest version of AVG Free Edition and scanned the PC for everybody’s sake. And it turned out that this PC (and the others as well) contained a lot of virus. The Admin PC contained 60+ viruses, consisting mostly of worms. But the most alarming part was that out of 60+ detected, there were 6 files containing TROJAN HORSE. My, good thing I did not plug my memory card in our PC that time. So, happily, all of those viruses were eliminated and I consider that PC now as the safest one around. I cannot install AVG to the other PC because it says that I don’t have the permission to perform such action. OH COME ON!! IT’S JUST AN ANTI-VIRUS!!! I can’t do anything about it now. Admin PC is still the one I consider the safest PC here in our library. hehehe
