To my LSAT Family

Yes, I know I sound “senti” or whatever you want to call it but hey, cheers! It was a fun ride joining you guys for 4 good consecutive years of university service. So I just want to express my gratitude here and thank you all for the good memories in these four years.

First of all, I want to thank the person who made me think I can do this job, from a temporary assistant head to permanent assistant head then to team head and finally getting to the topmost position which is the team captain, Kuya Alec. Without his encouragement, I won’t be able to do all of these, discover that I can actually be the person that the team have seen now.

Second, my Sec Gen (who rarely did his sec gen duties but fully performed his job as SOSE’s team head), Tom. He did not like the swap of positions but now I understand why and it was actually a good decision why we did not swap. Anyway, I am thanking him for joining me in this journey and being the best adviser for the whole team. Whenever there is something trivial, he’s the man to approach.

To Phil, who was the best assistant in GRAD. Shame on me having a kwatro kid as my assistant. 😦 He should have Β been the one in my position but given that he stayed in his position, he did more than what he’s supposed to do. He was the best at pushing what he can do more and was there to remind me of the things I should be remembering. πŸ˜€ Cheers!

Next, my GRAD family which stayed with me most of the time. Although some went off but I understand their reasons. The fact remains that they served and that matters most. From the races to the printer, laughing moments during idle times, the song-guessing and all stuff, walang-kamatayang KFC and to the group pictures, I will miss all of those. It’s like a family I’ll leave behind.

To SOSE and SOM team where interesting things happen. Largely because of your team head and also because these are the venues that are heavily attacked by some “yawh, you knowww” and those internet enlistment evaders. But most of all, because of the reliable people in the venue. I love the way you guys are open for requests when I give one and it gets done. πŸ˜€

To SOSS and SOH where, apparently, most of the “pasaways” are located. I admire their bravery at taking the enormous battle with SOSS and SOH students at a very small and cramped battlefield. I will remember the very first and only time I went berserk here. πŸ˜€ Not that I am saying that you are bad or something like that but it surely made me rethink about the way I treat you guys and that I learned more about proper management of the team. But I love you guysΒ so much and I hope that you are not pasaway anymore to your new heads. πŸ˜€

And speaking of the people, I want to thank those who went out first than me. πŸ˜€ I will miss them a lot largely because these are the people I knew who would do so well in their positions.

Iya, who was one of GRAD assessors, who did a good job being one of the GRAD people and will always be a reliable person

Claudia, who was one of SOSE assessors, who left Tom for JTA. :)) but still maintained a good record of being an assistant head. πŸ˜€

Cha, another pasaway but later on I realized that she should’ve been with us. It’s just she’s… really pasaway. πŸ˜€ but the quality of performance is rock solid. Also went for JTA. πŸ˜€

Apple, who also went for JTA, possessed good quality performance that can also be seen in Ateneo Comelec. πŸ™‚ A batch mate of mine confirmed this and I also hope she did not go out because the team needs someone like her.

Tammy, whyyyyyyyyyyyyyy?!?!?! Oh well, I forgot the reason why you went away. She’s one of the solid GRAD assessors around, never misses a beat. Sad for Kevin. :)))Β We miss you in GRAD!

Mea, I hope you’re doing well with GK and you’re also one of the good working assessors I’ve had. Guess what, we’re now interacting with the students na. πŸ˜€ Something that we feared coming before and now it’s here. πŸ˜€ We miss you in GRAD!

Dom, wala na akong ka-chismis around. πŸ™‚ But we also miss you here in GRAD. Unti-unti nawawala kong assessors but it gives me more hope that because of you guys,I know I can train more assessors like you. πŸ˜€

Another GRAD assessor, Jan. πŸ˜€ WE SO MISS YOU AND YOU KNOW WHY. πŸ˜€

To my two core groups, sorry pasaway (ako naman) akong team captain. but I had a lot of good memories with you guys and I will miss the times together.

and to the whole LSAT,

Thank you. I hope that you work well with the new core, since you’ve been working with them for the past year or two. I hope that in times of difficulty, you don’t leave each other on the dust, you help each other. Never bring up anger or disappointment, always think of ways to get things done (and then pag naayos, saka kayo magaway. JOKE. xD) for the sake of service. You are here not to serve yourself, your friend, boyfriend, girlfriend, nililgawan, ex, besty and others who are close to you. You are serving the whole Ateneo, so let’s be fair with each and every one of us. We have our rules, let’s comply to them and always go back to these rules whenever we have questions. Be open to your heads whenever you have concerns, just as open as I am to all of you guys. Let’s make LSAT a one big happy family. πŸ˜€ Cheers and good luck. God speed!
