Next week, I’ll be saving up some money to purchase another 150-play IDAS4 card to search for the RX-8 since most of the reviewers of the game and said by the english website of the game itself that the RX-8 and another hidden car which was the Mazda Miata were only available for International version, probably the english interface units.
Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 3 is very addictive. I played recently with my so-old looking Nissan Fairlady Z (S30). Wah! Even though it looks old, it punches 600 HP on the rear wheels. It’s still puny for the good ‘ol racers out there but I think 600 HP is the result of eating rather than playing. I’ve managed to get through the power tuning and I just started tuning my handling. The handling tuning stopped, though, just because another race feature caught my eye. It’s the “Ghost Car Battle” wherein you battle against the ghost cars of the people who just played on the machine you’re about to play on. Sounds nice but don’t just battle them on, some of the ghost cars are tough. The result of winning a race is the acquiring of dress-up points for the modification of the outer image of your car. It can give you, anytime, body kit set, rims rollcages, decals and more! I got 2 rim sets, Watanabe R.S. (the one that Takumi used in his hachiroku but I took the silver one) and the Rays Engineering/Volk TE37 rims ( my favorite also!). For the other parts, I got the body kit set used by the Fairlady Z or the Devil Z of the story. So if you look at my car from the “far” view, I really created a replica of the Devil Z but not yet on the performance… hahah!
