Fry, Fry until you die.

So I woke up late yet again today but that’s because I chose to continue my sleep, given that today’s still holiday in school and I have a chance to get some energy back. When I woke up, it was about lunch time so I went to the freezer to check for something to cook. I only saw a gigantic slab of ham and decided to defrost it. After a while, I thought, I might be cooking breakfast but never mind. Pinoys like eating breakfast any time of the day. 😀

So started cooking the ham first. Of course, the most exciting way of cooking this is by frying it until it’s nearly crispy. I always remind myself that I am cooking ham rather than bacon because I tend to cook similar looking stuff the same way. When I fry bacon, I fry them to their nearly crunchy and crispy state, so close to that state that any further frying will give me bacon chips. Speaking of breakfast, then, led me to cook one of this:

Yup, a sunny side-up egg sprinkled with salt. I can’t believe we always get a good batch of eggs recently. Just check how big the yolk is and how much it covered the whole pan. After cooking the egg, you’d expect me to oven two pieces of toast but this is Pinoy breakfast and no Pinoy breakfast is complete without this:

No, not the garlic bits but this:

Yes, the classic garlic fried rice. But to make it quick, I had to use the stored crunchy garlic bits of my brother rather than making the garlic bits myself from scratch. I’m friggin’ hungry already. 😀 After a dash of salt and pepper, I finally put them all together in my plate.

I actually used nearly all major kitchen utensil in the house. :)) After that, I sprinkled more garlic bits over my rice and tada~!

And yeah, this is lunch so there’s no coffee or iced tea. Only Coke. :)))
