11:15 pm: Engine Start, Reverse, Stop, First Gear, Regalado, Fairview, 40 Km/H
-We are about to fetch my brother from his work. He just texted that he will be out by twelve. My, up to twelve after experiencing Seniang from Puerto Galera and was not able to board immediately for Manila. The van was running with the front windows open, still able to smell that midnight fragrance of the roads once again.
11:45 pm: Epifanio Delos Santos Avenue – Cubao, Third gear switched, average 50 Km/H
I cannot believe that we can run at this speed at this time. The van ran again at flyovers without feeling that my dad was already braking… G-force! They too dared to go on with the challenge, still standing though…
12:00 am: One San Miguel Avenue, Ortigas Center, Pasay City, Stationary…
Waiting for my brother to get out. He said that he’ll go with his client up and get his things.

I fell asleep as my dad turned on the aircon. It’s been a long time since I’ve experienced this kind of travel. Since my dad resigned from his previous job in which every week, I get to join him once in his job, during midnight…
