Yup, one of the things I did so far this week is shooting. Not the guns, but rather the cameras.
As usual, I am stuck with 50mm f1.8 prime lens but I’m starting to love it again. There was one time when I had to switch to kit lens so that I will be able to shoot wide angle shots for the Pyromusical Competition in MOA. Problem is that I got used to f1.8 setting that the kit lens made it difficult for me to capture sufficient exposure. The problem with prime lens is its fixed length so when shooting at some things, I have to take some steps backwards to be able to capture everything. I usually use the prime lens for toy photography.
So what did I shoot so far? Well, another requirement for my photography class, which is the one above. It’s a simple task of looking at the pros and cons of high and low ISO’s. The one above is ISO 100, making it more crisp.
Another image-shooting task was to document an event for an organization. What’s so interesting is the speaker which is:
No other than Mr. Howie Severino!
It was a good documenting experience.
I may not be able to capture images on par with the people documenting the event since I’m only used at shooting toys but I hope I did a satisfactory job.
