In my org, Gabay, they have this another set of grouping aside from the Committees and batches, which is called Angkan. Angkan is usually the term used here in the Philippines for a large family. 
In Gabay, Angkan is also like a family and that’s why it consists of randomly selected members regardless of their batch and committee. This is a good way for new members and others to know others.
And so I was designated here in DIK. All other names of Angkans were taken from Greek words. I forgor the other names but DIK means “Justice”.
