Tamiya 1:24 Scale Nissan GT-R

I’ve built a plastic model kit before, specifically a Master Grade 1:100 scale RX-178 Gundam Mk-II but this is more interesting because I like cars a lot especially this one. This was from GTRBLOG.com and once this model kit goes out, I might save up some money to build one. Yep, save money because I’m not really a modeller. I’ve tried once and it’s a good experience but I want to try real life objects as well. This one is not from Bandai, though, but from Tamiya.

It’s not released yet but according to GTRBLOG.com, it will be out in the next month. Better save now~!

Migration

A friend of mine is going to Canada tomorrow and he will be there for good. I’m just wondering why most people are already migrating to other countries. One thing, there are a lot of racial discrimination that probably would send me to jail if I heard one nasty description from the people of that place.

Even though our government had a lot of flaws (and even now), I still like it here. WHY? Well, there are a lot of things that I like here.

  • One, it’s a tropical country. Even if it’s so hot, I’d still prefer it from freezing cold because by looking at the state of my body, cold will kill me in no time.
  • Two, Speeding is monitored in such countries. In Japan, I think, they already have speed cameras on Tokyo Highways. Here, get a fast car and the Toyota Vios and Altis cannot catch you. Unless, you ran across San Juan’s Altis, that might be a problem. I would like to experience to speed just once. Or technical turns…
  • Three, Most of the international goodies here are bargains. Take for examples the ORIGINAL iPods. The iPods here are cheaper than what US has to give. Although now, it is already being eaten by the continuous increase of value of the Philippine Peso.
  • Four, Only in the Philippines where traffic can expand from 3 lanes to 5 lanes without any major casualties. It impresses me a lot.
  • Five, also Only in the Philippines where there are intersections have to traffic lights. It’s bad, I know but we Filipinos can manage to drive across without hitting a frowning face.
  • Six, Lots of Malls around. There are malls around you in the blink of an eye.
  • Seven, Lots of places to hangout as well.

This is not a tourism matter people… I know there are also a lot of goodies in other countries but I still prefer to live here. I’m not a big fan of imported chocolates or spam or any international goodies. I know, PSP and Q-steer are from Japan but I buying those for a purpose not because I’m a dying fan of it. :D
